Delta successfully contributed to delivering a 21st century 5 level underground basement carpark within the heart of the Adelaide City. The underground car park will serve thousands of workers, sports fans, entertainment goers and casino patrons within the up-and-coming precinct.

According to Chris Kupisiewicz, Walker Contracts Administrator for the Adelaide Festival Plaza Project, Delta managed all coordination requirements from the design phase to the final construction completion phase exceptionally well.

“Delta was acutely aware of the sensitive nature of ensuring all stakeholders were appropriately managed and mitigation strategies were put in place to ensure the above challenges were addressed,” he added.

The project included an array of design consultants and key stakeholders as a result of multiple works being undertaken concurrently across the Adelaide Riverbank redevelopment site; which required a high level of coordination and attention to detail to ensure that all designs were integrated effectively and construction was undertaken to facilitate the future Car Park, Tower and Retail buildings as well as integration into the interfaces of the adjoining properties.

Working to the project budget, a strict timeline and overlapping works programme involving multiple trades, a site-specific fleet of plant and equipment, and specialist consultants; Project Manager Danny Ryan, Project Engineer John Cui and Foreman Jason Dyball successfully achieved all project milestones as scheduled, without major or notifiable incident.
