Job Description

CMA Contracting in the Hunter Valley are seeking an experienced Project Manager in Civil to lead the safe and successful delivery of projects across the region. This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, commercial performance, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle from initiation through to completion
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Oversee project planning, programming, and resource allocation
  • Monitor costs, track performance, and manage financial outcomes
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and contract requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, including clients and internal teams
  • Prepare and deliver accurate timely project reporting

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
  • Minimum 10 years’ industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience
  • Proven experience delivering complex construction projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Safety-focused with a commitment to best practice
  • Strong commercial and financial management capability
  • Experience in large-scale industrial or demolition projects
  • Tier 1 Civil Infrastructure experience
