Unique Attributes

  • Following significant rain events that threatended the stability of the Yallourn Open Pit Coal Mine walls (that had previously collapsed in 2007 and 2012), the Victorian Government declared a State Energy Emergency that facilitated approval of the diversion of the Morwell River into the redundant Hazelwood Mine pit
