Job Description

CMA Contracting in the Hunter Valley are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join our team on the Liddell Power Station demolition project. This role is critical in ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and compliance of all materials entering and leaving site. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting logistics, commercial reporting, and safe site operations over the course of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the weighbridge system and accurately record all inbound and outbound materials
  • Capture and verify load data including weights, classifications, and compliance documentation
  • Reconcile outgoing materials with downstream facilities to ensure commercial accuracy
  • Monitor and manage site traffic flow, coordinating closely with supervisors and operators
  • Conduct radiation monitoring and identify non-conforming or contaminated materials
  • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate transport bookings and support efficient dispatch of vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a weighbridge or similar high-volume data/reconciliation role
  • Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy
  • Process-driven with strong commercial awareness
  • Confident and assertive in managing drivers and contractors
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Radiation monitoring training
  • Experience in construction, demolition, or industrial environments
