Job Description

Delta Rent operates one of the largest earthmoving equipment rental fleets of more than 450 high performance machines in Australia. Established in Victoria since 2005, we understand that the deployment of heavy plant and equipment is high risk and capital intensive. It also requires specialist skills and operating licences. That’s why we are a trusted partner of our clients, not just for the rental of new generation, low hour machines but exceptional service and 24/7 qualified support and personnel. As National Business & Sales Manager, you will develop and deliver national sales strategies, lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. This is a hands-on role focused on winning new business, growing existing accounts, and responding to market trends to maximise performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a national sales team
  • Deliver national and state sales targets and margin outcomes
  • Drive new business growth and strengthen key customer relationships
  • Oversee CRM, pipeline management, tenders, and presentations
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to adapt strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes
  • Champion safety, compliance, and Delta Rent values

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in national or multi-site sales leadership
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and safety-conscious
  • Previous experience in heavy earthmoving equipment sales and/or hire
  • Strong understanding of urban and industrial market sector operations, particularly quarrying operations
