Job Description

The SEC Delburn Wind Farm is Victoria’s first publicly owned, utility-scale wind generation project, to be built to the south of the Latrobe Valley from early 2026. Delta Group was appointed by Vestas as a key delivery partner of the project and is now actively promoting traineeship opportunities involving a Certificate III in Business.

Key Responsibilities

This full-time traineeship combines practical, on-the-job training with structured study, providing the foundational skills needed for success in any industry. Over the 12-month program, you will be mentored by industry professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of business operations. You will develop a versatile skill set applicable across various sectors, including:
  • Administration & Organisation: Manage schedules, organise meetings, and produce professional business documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Communication & Teamwork: Enhance your written and verbal communication skills, work effectively in a team, and apply critical thinking to solve workplace problems
  • Customer Service: Deliver and monitor excellent service to customers and effectively process complaints
  • Technology: Become proficient in a range of business software applications and digital technologies
  • Workplace Safety & Wellbeing: Understand and assist with maintaining workplace health and safety and support personal wellbeing initiatives
  • Financial Processes: Gain basic knowledge of processing financial transactions and maintaining records
 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Studying or about to comence a Certificate III in Business
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer literacy and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and professional representation
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Understanding of construction industry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
