Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will play a critical role in delivering and driving informed decision making across our diversified contracting business – at group and operational or divisional levels. Your ability to deliver complex reporting, drive performance excellence, and foster strong stakeholder relationships will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex data into clear and compelling narratives that inform operational and strategic decision making
  • Identify trends, patterns, and root causes to uncover actionable insights
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Recommend enhancements to reporting frameworks and data processes
  • Ensure data integrity and contribute to data governance initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decision making through data analytics and insights
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field
  • Previous experience in the Australian building and construction industry, with a strong understanding of contracting operations and KPIs
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, CBAP)
