Job Description

Delta Group in Western Australia are seeking an experienced and qualified QSE Adviser to join our team on a FIFO (2:1) basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring and delivery of our health, safety and environmental  management systems and site specific programs across blue chip projects for Tier One clients.

Key Responsibilities

Australian work authorisation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis for this position. Reporting to the QSE Manager (WA) and National QSE Manager you will be accountable for:
  • Reporting and advising on health, safety and environmental matters
  • Ongoing maintenance and development of our Integrated Management System
  • Working collaboratively with all employees to provide practical, logical support and advice
  • The coordination and facilitation of external audits (ISO, OFSC, NHVR, Client)
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems, ensuring alignment with AS 4801, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 across all demolition operations
  • Onboarding and Induction of new employee
  • The development and implementation of project specific QSE documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • A passionate and enthusiastic approach to safety excellence
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of construction workplace practices and resources sector
  • High level computer skills and systems minded
  • Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage people across all levels of the business
  • Proven ability to prioritise and make decisions independently and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
