Job Description

CMA Contracting are seeking an experienced Project Engineer in Demolition to support the successful delivery of projects across New South Wales. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in planning, coordination, cost tracking, quality assurance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project delivery and site operations
  • Assist with planning, programming, and resource coordination
  • Track project costs, production rates, and performance
  • Prepare and manage QA documentation, ITPs, and site records
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Assist with procurement, variations, and contract administration
  • Contribute to risk assessments, SWMS, and safety documentation
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate, timely project documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in demolition or industrial projects
  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Strong computer and data management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals
  • Experience in demolition or large-scale industrial projects
  • Commercial awareness and cost control experience
