Job Description

Delta Recycling are seeking an experienced and qualified Site Supervisor to lead our concrete recycling and contract crushing operations. This is a hands-on role that is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of fixed and mobile crushing sites across metropolitan Melbourne. This role and responsibilities are best suited to an experienced leader from the quarrying and/or concrete recycling sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational performance in accordance to site or project specific work programs
  • Material processing and production management
  • Assist in managing day-to-day running of projects to achieve project KPIs
  • Oversee implementation of key management systems – Quality, OHS, Environmental, Admin
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and Project Manager
  • Liaise with Maintenance Manager to facilitate all plant and equipment servicing and maintenance, and maintain plant and equipment in good conditionComply with all OHS and other site or project requirements
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Ensure all personnel are suitably competent and trained for their employed role and/or daily tasks
  • Training and upskilling of site workforce

Qualifications & Experience

  • Understanding of both hard rock crushing and concrete recycling plant and production processes
  • Exceptional attitude towards implementing safety, quality and environmental management systems
  • Competent operation of a variety of earth moving and recycling (crushing and screening) equipment
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills to manage various site operations, supplies, subcontractors and personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage site and/or project specific budgets
  • Proven track record in developing and expanding the skills and competencies of direct reports
