Job Description

BRC Piling & Foundations has forged a reputation for the design and delivery of high quality piling, retaining walls and foundation support systems over 35+ years in operation. Established since 1988 in Victoria, we are a trusted contractor for the delivery of specialist Geotech solutions to support urban and industrial sector construction projects. With an expanding workbook across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, we are seeking experienced and qualified (ticketed) Piling Rig and Crane operators to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate piling rigs in line with site procedures, SWMS and manufacturer requirements
  • Operate cranes up to and over 100t
  • Operate excavator/associated plant as required (where licensed)
  • Apply proven piling techniques (casing experience is an advantage)
  • Assist with rig set-up, pack-down and lifts as required
  • Work with the Supervisor and crew to meet production and program requirements
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality and environmental compliance
  • Other site duties as directed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience operating piling rigs
  • Current Construction White Card and Piling Rig Operator ticket (or equivalent competency)
  • A strong safety focus and a team-first attitude
  • Reliable transport and a valid driver license
  • Excellent vision and ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
  • Understanding of safe work methods for manual lifting (and carrying)
