The Melbourne Rectangular Stadium is located adjacent to Olympic Park in the Melbourne sporting precinct and will host soccer and rugby games. Delta’s works on this project involves.

• Demolition of all existing buildings on site.
  
• Dulk excavation of over 50,000m3 of material including the handling and disposal of contaminated soil.
  
• Detailed excavation works.
  
• Installation of external stormwater drainage.
  
• Over 18,000m2 of ground slab preparation.
  
• Filling and compaction of the new playing pitch up to 2m above existing surface levels.
  
• Construction of subsurface layers of the playing pitch.
