The revitalisation of Bowen Lane running through the central courtyard of the CBD campus of RMIT was a significant construction and landscaping project utilising our demolition, civil and landscaping teams.

Key Features

  • The entire area of Bowen Lane was demolished.
  • Civil teams then excavated a new basement carpark before sealing it off with a suspended slab. A lift shaft was also constructed to access the basement.
  • Once complete the area was transformed by the landscaping division.
  • A major structure know as 'The Loggia' was installed and dominates the streets landscape.
  • Pavements installed of pre-cast, natural and asphalt stone.
  • Custom made climbing frames and stainless steel street furniture were also installed.
  • Transplanted mature trees give the area an immediate established feel.
