DELTA DIVERTS MILLIONS OF TONNES FROM LANDFILL

Where others saw mountains of land fill, we saw building and construction materials of the future.

Delta Group diverts more than 2m tonnes of construction waste from landfill every year with over 90% recycled and reused as 21st Century building materials on project sites around the world.

We were one of the first contractors of our type in the world to diversify into waste management and recycling through our own Waste Transfer Station and Cleanfill facilities in suburban Melbourne. It’s also why we teamed up with Boral Limited in 2000 to create a ground breaking new by-product of construction waste – Envirocrete – as well as establishing a dedicated timber recycling division.

Thanks to our shared vision and pioneering work with Boral, commercial concrete can now be crushed, processed, treated and tested according to strict guidelines to produce a premium grade road base that satisfies the exacting standards and specifications of government agencies such as Vic Roads. Envirocrete has also transformed 21st Century building materials which are now common across residential, commercial and industrial project sites – not just here in Australia, but all around the world.

Delta-Boral concrete recycling facilities are located throughout suburban Melbourne in Sunshine, Deer Park, Lysterfield, Wollert and Coldstream.

Delta Recylcing operations involve a specialised fleet of plant and equipment, emission control and management systems, materials tracking management, custom designed logistical support systems, and accurate waste management reporting in accordance with the Green Building Council of Australia “Green Star Credit” programme.
